Hoppers can be used to receive bulk solids or powders in batch form - for example a front-end loader, rail/truck dump, or receive batch ingredients as part of a process plant.
When it comes to Truck loading the silo, the truck can be weighed either by the built-in floor-scale, or the weight of the silo cells themselves can be monitored for controlling the discharged quantity. When the truck reaches the desired loading, spout position the loading spout is pressed onto the trucks filling gate pneumatically and so provides for a minimal dust leakage and large truck-loading flow rates.
Silos are equipped with bin vent filters (jet filter), burst discs (dust explosions), pressure relief valves, level limit switches, discharge devices etc. in order to secure the loading safety process. HACCP requirements and IFS Standards are always under strict supervision and monitor during plant installation and commissioning.
Built-in features
- Optional pneumatic loading spouts with minimal dust leakage
- State of the art discharge weight control systems
- Optional design for the food/animal feed/chemicals/plastics
