ACMON SYSTEMS S.A. collects, stores and processes certain personal data of its customers, suppliers, employees, contractually contracted partners, its partners and generally persons interested in information or commercial transaction regarding its subject matter.

This policy sets out the principles applied by the Company in the processing of the personal data of the above persons and is intended to inform them about such processing.  This policy can be renewed or supplemented by specific policies or updates that will be properly disclosed.

Our Company is committed to complying with the terms of Regulation 2016/679 of the European Union and the other applicable European and Greek legislation on the protection of personal data, in order to protect the security, integrity and confidentiality of personal data collected and processed by it.

The following items are the subject of this privacy policy

1.Purpose of collection the personal data of the above persons and the legal bases for their processing.

All processing carried out by the Company on personal data is based on a legal basis (Article 6. GDPR) or to the consent of the subject.

3. To whom personal data is shared

The Company does not in principle disclose the above personal data to third-party recipients outside of the Company.

Exceptionally, this personal data may be disclosed:

A) To public authorities for the purposes of the Company's compliance with the company's legal obligations;

B) Before the courts for the exercise and defense of the Rights of the Company

C) To third parties providing services to the Company such as electronic service companies, lawyers for the exercise of our Company's claims, accountants/inspectors, customs agents, transport companies,  factoring companies, suppliers and other service providers in the context of business relations;

These persons act as processors  and process the personal data of the above persons solely on behalf of and on the basis of the Company's recorded orders, as set out in the respective processing contracts and in compliance with applicable personal data laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation(GDPR  Regulation 1016/679)

4. How personal data is processed and how long it is to be kept.

The Company complies with the basic processing principles referred to in Article 5 of the GDPR and responds to them in the following ways. 

Personal Data:

  • They are subjected to lawful and fair processing in a transparent manner for the data subject (legality, objectivity, transparency)
  • They are collected for specified explicit and legitimate purposes and are not further processed in a manner incompatible with these purposes (purpose limitation)
  • They are appropriate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed (data minimisation)
  • They are accurate and up-to-date, and reasonable steps are taken to immediately delete/correct inaccurate data in relation to processing purposes (accuracy)
  • They shall be kept in a form which allows the identification of the subjects only for the period required for the purposes of processing (limitation of the storage period)
  • They are processed that guarantee the security of the data, its protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and the accidental loss/destruction/damage using appropriate technical and organisational measures (security, integrity, confidentiality)

The Company is responsible and able to demonstrate to any competent authority compliance with the above principles (accountability).

The Company transmits personal data to countries outside the European Union ensuring that it complies with THE GDPR provision 46.

5. The rights of data subjects

Each subject has the right to require compliance with the processing principles set out above, as well as to request access, correction and deletion of his personal data, as well as the right to restrict and oppose their processing by the Company.

Every person has the right to know the purposes of processing their personal data and where necessary to provide their consent freely and expressly.

They are also entitled to know the time of the Company's retention of its data and the safe way of rejecting them.

Also, every person has the right to receive his or her personal data in a structured form, in paper or electronic form read by the Computer and the right to request the transmission of such data to  another controller without objection from the Company.

The fee legislation gives the person the right to file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority if they consider that the Company is in breach of applicable law when processing their personal data.
