Acmon Group announces the appointment of Gerry Varvias as Group Managing Director, reinforcing its strategic commitment to sustainable growth, operational excellence, and the continued expansion of its international presence.
Mr. Varvias joins the Group at a time when Acmon continues to invest systematically in its technological capabilities and organizational development, strengthening its position in industrial automation, bulk material handling, digital manufacturing solutions, intralogistics, and robotics.
Gerry Varvias brings extensive international experience in general management and industrial transformation, having held senior leadership positions across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Throughout his career, he has led complex multi-site and multi-country industrial organizations and successfully delivered large-scale operational transformation, organizational restructuring, business integration, and performance improvement initiatives.
He has served as both Chief Executive and senior executive in organizations operating across a diverse range of industrial sectors, including glass manufacturing, plastics packaging, professional refrigeration systems, metal closures, and the food industry. He also brings significant experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments, where quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with multinational blue-chip customers are critical success factors.
His expertise encompasses operational excellence, organizational transformation, complex multi-site and multi-country operations, and the modernization of industrial environments through technology, automation, and Industry 4.0 solutions, with a strong focus on building efficient, scalable organizations that support sustainable long-term growth.
