Storage & Discharge
Monolithic silos:
- made from carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminium
- storage capacities up to 250 m³
Modular silos:
- with a unique design which provides maximum flexibility while maintaining high quality standards.
- Easily shipped and containerized which significantly reduces freight costs
Square silos:
- accommodate in less space than monolithic silos while
- increasing your storage capacity by more than 25% at the same footprint
Trevira or Fabric silos:
- Trevira fabric is suitable for food contact
- Provides extremely high mechanical resistance and excellent antistatic properties
- Designed for storing powders or granulated raw materials for the food industry (flour, sugar e.t.c)
- Fabric silos consist of a robust modular galvanized or painted steel supporting frame and a Trevira technical
fabric container.
- They are normally placed indoors, but can also be placed outside after an add-on protection.
- Storage capacities can be up to 100 m³.
Optimum storage conditions provides optimum product quality.
When it comes to raw material reception in bulk you can choose from a wide range of storage silos that meet your
individualized needs best.
Choices are given from a standardized equipment base we have been developed over more than thirty years of
experience while taking into consideration parameters such as product characteristics, geographical structural
conditions, space limitations, environmental standards and hygiene directives along with health and safety
regulations.

Bulk solids can be reception in various different ways in industrial environments, from a few liters to several
dozen cubic meters depending on the need of the customer and what is offered by the supplier.
The most widespread bulk container format used in the bulk solids handling industry is the one of bags of
25kg.
Acmon system’s bag tipping stations design in a way so the operator can perform the task as easily as possible,
the surrounding environment stays clear of dust and the capacity meets the downstream process requirements.
Ergonomics, dust suction, foreign body prevention, easy flow of material are only the basis of the parameters we
take into consideration to secure that the operator will have a safe workplace, which in return will guarantee
reliability and high capacity tipping process.

Many manufacturers in the bulk solids processing industry continue to employ 25-kilogram (kg) bags at their
initial production stages as for example the reception of raw materials and ingridients.
Nevertheless, the increasing demand for more efficient process operations is leading an increasing number of raw
material suppliers to adopt larger formats like bulk bags or Big Bags.
These larger bags enable users to substantially decrease their operational requirements while handling
equivalent material quantities.
Acmon system’s big bag tipping stations design in a way to benefit the process from the advantages of handling
large quantities of product at a time, while secure the risk involve of handling loads of several hundred
kilograms providing a dust-tight and safe operation in the long run.

Ingredients are usually managed in three different process steps within a food production process.
First comes the bag tipping into the storage bins or hoppers, followed by dosing often in high accuracies and
finally conveying to the reception hopper that are added to the main ingridients of a dough or a mixture.
Micro ingredients stations can be either integrated to fully automated solutions or stand alone either inline or
offline the real time production process.
